Hello, all my guys and dolls!!! Happy Tuesday from me! I hope you’re having a blessed day filled with Jesus! Today’s blog post is in collaboration with LoveModestRose a modest fashion label based out of Michigan! I was so excited when the opportunity arose to work with them because they have so many classy pieces!
EXCITING: I will be working with them again in the coming weeks and I can not wait to share those looks!!!
Today I am sharing how I styled The White Giovanna Lace Crop Top Maxi Dress!!!! A beautiful dress that seriously is so flattering. I’m being 100% real in my review when I say it is a solid 10/10! I also wanted to suggest that if you’re looking for a classic bridal look this dress could easily be that for you! Great for the big day if you’re going with something a little more BOHO/laid back….also great for a bridal shower! It is very well made with lining underneath! It has a zipper up the back that is that extra beautiful neutral little detail. Its cropped so again it looks amazing! It’s suprisingly very comfortable too! I plan to wear it to a more formal event this week so stay tuned on the gram to see that! @1998miss Anyways let’s get down to it!
Thank you love Modest rose for this dress. You can shop it here: https://www.modestrose.com Follow them on Instagram @lovemodestrose❣️
Hello friends! I’m so happy you’re popping in for today’s blog post! This post is in collaboration with Brigitte Brianna at Sexy Modest. I worked with her brand previously (check that post out here: https://1998miss.com/the-bridgette-brianna-overall-dress/ ) and had such a great experience we decided to do it again. Although I love working with brands I want to be clear I do not advertise or do work with anyone if I genuinely do not like the label. It’s obvious that I really like this company because they have so many chic options. They are really offering some unique options in the area of Modest Fashion!!
When selecting the piece I wanted to collaborate on I was immediately drawn to the swing dress. I loved it because I knew it would be such a staple piece! I choose Royal Blue because it’s a color that I’m told brings out my eyes!
To make this post a little more exciting I styled this dress not one but three different ways! I love to do this because I think it’s important to show you can spice up any look for any event.
#1 IPHONE DIARIES
So it was not actually my intention to include this iPhone shot but it shows how I styled this look for lunch at RESTORATION HARDWARE! + It’s the way I styled this dress for class!
#2 Modest Chic/Keeping it Dressy
I was in love with the idea of wearing my blue tie shoes with this dress because I think a monochromatic look is so chic! I paired my Danielle tutu from Skirt Society under the Swing Dress because I think it adds a “high fashion” vibe! I added my Gucci esc belt and a black clutch to complete the look. I think this is a great look for church!
#3 Classy for Brunch!!!
This may be my favorite version of the dress because I think the pop of print and the red bag really tie the look together nicely. I also am obsessed with this belt! BTW a wide belt always looks great and adds a WAIST! This was the first version I had in mind when I opened the dress and I honestly think it’s the style that looks the most flattering!
These photos were taken by my good friend Slice! We had such a fun day chilling in Nashville and I’m working on editing the vlog from the day! A huge thank you for being so sweet Sarah! I love you!!!!
Finally, thank you so much to Sexy Modest Boutique for this beautiful blue dress. I can’t wait to transition it into fall!
Good afternoon, evening, morning or whatever time you’re reading this! I am so happy that you’ve taken the time out of your day to visit 1998miss.com. This is the first blog post back in the game after taking a considerable amount of time off-intentionally. I chose to do this because of some negative experiences I encountered this summer. BUT I’m BACK & IT’S WITH SOMETHING REALLY GOOD.
Today I’ll be sharing the beautiful “ALEXA DRESS” from Modest Poppy! You heard right, there is actually a dress named after me!! HOW BLESSED/COOL/FANTASTIC IS THAT! Forgive me as I publically freak out!!! I’m just so happy that I’ve made it to that point in my blogging career, it’s been a journey! Thank you Modest Poppy for creating this beautiful moment. I am so ecstatic that I had the opportunity to work with you. Oh, if you want to shop Modest Poppy you can do so here: https://themodestpoppy.com/ (which you totally should because the ALEXA DRESS IS THERE AND THIS SO CUTE TULLE SKIRT THAT THEY JUST RELEASED!!!)
In an effort to show the greatness of the Alexa Dress (that’s just never gonna get old LOL) I styled it three different ways! I’ve styled it for a comfy day out with sneakers, for a dressy brunch or morning service at church and finally for whatever fancy plans you may have! Of all three styles my favorite is number three but I’ll leave it up to you! Let me know, which, you like best!!! I’d also love to see how you spice it up!!!
Anyways thanks for stopping by! A big thank you to Modest Poppy for this collaboration and for giving me the honor of having a dress named after ME! I am honestly so in love with the modest options you offer! They are so chic and so unique! If you haven’t shopped Modest Poppy you’re missing out! XO, I’ll see you Friday on my youtube channel and again next Tuesday! XO.
Hi friends! Happy Thursday and welcome to this weeks blog post! I am so happy for today’s post because I have been dying to share these pictures and this dress with Y’all! I am working with a beautiful new modesty brand called Sexy Modest by Bridgette Brianna @modestshoppin.
Sexy Modest is a great brand based out of Utah providing gals all over modern modest options. When the opportunity arose to collaborate with this brand I was thrilled because there are SO many beautiful clothes. I debated for FIVE EVER trying to decide on what I would feature on 1998miss.com and add to my closet! I finally decided it had to be the stunning Bridgette Brianna Overall Dress because it’s girly, classic and it comes in every color! I felt like the ruffles add a super girly touch and the V in the back is very slimming. I almost ordered it in pink because I thought it would make the PERFECT valentines day look but then I went with black because I thought I would wear it more! I always pick black because I am always looking for the most slimming look but the pink was also SUPER cute! If you’re trying to decide on what you will wear for Valentine’s day with your love or Galentine’s day with your gal pals this dress would be GREAT!
The dress fits true to size and has is made of a stretchy material which is super great because it’s also super comfortable! It looks great on and feels great too! One last thing I really like about this dress is the fact that you can easily dress it up or down! It would be great for a day of classes (that’s what I’ll wear it for because I have an exam on VDAY) or for a date night with your love. It will transition easily from day to night! P.S. The Bridgette Brianna Dress HAS POCKETS!
Shoutout to my best friend for being the best photographer ever! Seriously love you BOO!
As you can see here I styled this dress up for a girly Valentines Day inspired look with the pink button down underneath the Bridgette Brianna Dress but you could easily do a grey turtleneck or a sheer blouse! I put some Chinese inspired booties from Sam Edelman with the look for a fun element and finished off my hair with a beautiful embellished J Crew Bow.
