Make a STATEMENT sleeve!!!!
I loved this sleek look with a black statement sleeve!! So chic! I paired it with my forever loving maroon banana republic skirt and a slick low bun. I was so excited about wearing these shoes because I bought them all the way in January at the Dillard’s new years sale for convention! When I saw them at Dillard’s I envisioned the runway trend of super high platforms and thought uh yes I’ll take them + they are sparkly with a fab ankle strap. To finish off this simple yet classic look I paired a black JCREW clutch too! Hey *tip if you are wanting a classy look I suggest block coloring like I did-so easy!

THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH
🙂 Another Sunday Best from Sewanee. This look was as fun as the time we had taking these pictures! I love pleats and and I love the little pony’s on this dress. It’s a grand fall look….twirling and whirling around. I had a great time with Miranda as I always do because she’s the best. Without Miranda my experience at Sewanee would be so much less than it is. I love her and I know God placed us together for many reasons. I’m glad I’ve found a friend for a lifetime. Who could have ever guessed that we’d come this far since the very start of our freshman year at Sewanee. I love you Miranda! You’re the very best roommate ever. P.S. This look was really simple & yes I added a slip extender.

Rain + Polka Dots = A GOOD LOOK
So this is another look I put together for a Sunday here on the MOUNTAIN. I paired a few of my favorite older pieces with some newbies for this SHABAM look. My favorite part about this look was wearing it to The Pentecostals of Murfreesburo and walking down the isle and my shoe breaking. (The heel literally just broke off) None the less I still made the best of it with a grin. Right after church I had to run to Target before heading back to The University so I had to walk in target with one broken heal. LOL. A lady said “honey are you missing a heal”….it was so awkward/hilarious.
It was raining when I got up in the morning so I made this look to match my Sewanee yellow raincoat! It ended up being a bit overcast all day after the rain so it made for a darling look!

SUNDAY IN THE SOUTH
Hey guys!! Obv. I am getting this up on 1998miss.com way later than anticipated….COLLEGE IS SO BUSY. I have actually little to no- free time. Anyways this look is a Sunday Best outfit. It was def. the best for a Sunday spent in Church. I attended TPOM (The Pentecostals of Murfreesboro, TN) and I loved it! Another great church in TN-I have to speak highly about their worship service….THE MUSIC WAS INCREDIBLE. I felt such a presence of worship that I didn’t even wanna leave when service was over :))))! You can check out their website just google TPOM and you’ll find it. I am hopeful to go back and next time I’ll get to sit with a friend I made this summer at TN Camp Meeting. I hope to get to introduce Y’all to her soon! She’s so sweet!!! She was on a mission trip so she wasn’t at service when I was there. Oh yeah, make sure you are checking out and subscribing to my YOU TUBE CHANNEL! Follow me on IG, TWITTER, BLOG, SNAPCHAT, ECT! LOVE YA>

Sunday’s at Sewanee
So if you’re curious about my routine on Sunday & if it’s changed much since my routine at home, I’d have to say yes! I am in college and I AM STILL ATTENDING CHURCH! This is a main priority when going to college, it was absolutely a deciding factor in my choice to attend Sewanee. I appreciate the level of higher education but also the recognition of religion. Although I do not traditionally practice an Episcopalian faith I do believe in the principle of God. I find the episcopalian faith very interesting and actually beautiful. If you’ve seen All Saint’s Chapel at Sewanee or learned of the traditions of this region you would agree with me. Anyways…I moved in 2 weeks ago to study religion in FYP but it was so busy that I even had class on Sunday! I didn’t get to go to church!!! 🙁 Today I finally was able to attend and boy was I glad I got too! You don’t know how much you miss something until it’s gone. I miss my home church in Rogers, Arkansas but was welcomed with open arms today to a friends church. I met Trey Kelly on my mission trip to Madagascar, where I discovered he lived 40 minutes from the campus I was moving to. His parents pastor the church I attended today. It was so nice to see a familiar face and be able to feel at home. I’m excited to be getting through freshman orientation on Wednesday and being able to start classes!!!! As I said before I am going to launch a youtube channel for 1998miss.com!!! YAY One of the topics I plan to talk about is COLLEGE + CHURCH & MY ROUTINE.

I loved this Sunday Look!
The braid across the top of my head was swell because it gave the hair a good look without adding any heat! It was so quick & cute! I belted this floral JCREW sweatshirt & paired it will a Goodwill Skirt for church! I loved how my hair looked most of all-because I’ve been doing a heat ban since forever!

Sweet Spring Sunday’s in NWA
I LOVE SUNDAY! I especially love it that I spend them attending church in North West Arkansas. It is truly the most beautiful place ever. Also….I HAVE THE BEST CHURCH EVER. ♥️
My Sunday consisted of morning service, some light errands, shopping at The Pinnacle & then prayer revival that evening. Prayer revival is still going on at my church! 🙂
I am getting so excited for my mission trip to Africa! I still need a lot of prayer & I haven’t met my financial goal yet, so would appreciate any donations!
