SUNDAY IN THE SOUTH

SUNDAY IN THE SOUTH

Hey guys!! Obv. I am getting this up on 1998miss.com way later than anticipated….COLLEGE IS SO BUSY. I have actually little to no- free time. Anyways this look is a Sunday Best outfit. It was def. the best for a Sunday spent in Church. I attended TPOM (The Pentecostals of Murfreesboro, TN) and I loved it! Another great church in TN-I have to speak highly about their worship service….THE MUSIC WAS INCREDIBLE. I felt such a presence of worship that I didn’t even wanna leave when service was over :))))! You can check out their website just google TPOM and you’ll find it. I am hopeful to go back and next time I’ll get to sit with a friend I made this summer at TN Camp Meeting. I hope to get to introduce Y’all to her soon! She’s so sweet!!! She was on a mission trip so she wasn’t at service when I was there. Oh yeah, make sure you are checking out and subscribing to my YOU TUBE CHANNEL! Follow me on IG, TWITTER, BLOG, SNAPCHAT, ECT! LOVE YA>

Class Dress

Class Dress

Hey y’all this look was from a few days ago….sorry I am still so behind! Class Dress at Sewanee basically means your classiest dress….we dress NICE. I love this!!!! If you’re walking around campus you can expect to see sundresses, wedges, boots, jack rogers, button downs, bowties, oxfords, chubbies, & blazer’s. This is a great fit for me because it’s totally different than the public school environment I was accustomed to in high school! I’ve included some pictures of my darling room mate in today’s post because it’s been said around campus that we are perfect for each other…..we both have fashionable style. We compliment each other I think 🙂 She is wearing a precious petite look! Miranda is chic but also modest!!! It’s crazy how much we actually have in common…and she ALWAYS takes my pictures for me-no questions asked. Alright Y’all before you GET MY LOOK, you need to GET MY CHANNEL! That’s right I finally created my own You Tube Channel with my first official video! Don’t miss this-subscribe and share! I’m excited to make videos become a regular thing with more serious content but today’s was just an assignment for Econ that I thought was a lot of fun! It was just a simple “Selfie” video for a introduction of myself for the professor! Shout out to PROF. SKEE!

HONOR CODE SIGNING

September 3, 2016

Honor Code Signing

THE BIGGEST SEWANEE TRADITION. A RITUAL OF HONEST GOODNESS. I was inducted officially as a student in the class of 2020 to The University of The South. I signed the honor code pledging to never lie, steal or cheat but really it was more than that….it was the moment I finally got to be apart of my own Sewanee tradition. I can finally cling to something that I got to be apart of that would be a legacy in my life for my children. This was something that will resonate with me for the REST OF MY LIFE. You can tune in to a live video of the class of 2020 singing by following this link https://www.ustream.tv/channel/7MBLjeQGUmv It’s official I am official <3

All Saints’ Splendor

September 2, 2016

All Saints’ Splendor

Hey! Sorry you are just now getting the details about this look 🙂 It has been a BUSY first week of classes. I’ve been here at Sewanee taking a class since August 17th but all of my classes are finally in session. I am taking 16 credit hours + a tennis course. I am excited because I have all of my classes divided up in the perfect schedule. I look forward to my class Principles of Human Nutrition taught by Professor Gray! I couldn’t have been placed in a more perfect biology class! BIO 180 IS AWESOME. I am also taking Psych, FYP Religion, & Econ! I love this look because it was classic southern girl “little black dress” – it also looked darling by All Saint’s Chapel. It’s the splendor of Sewanee in my opinion. It’s our focal point and it’s been an extraordinary location to capture all of my recent blog pictures. Keep updated with my looks because I’ll also be featuring some of the other beautiful buildings on campus.

THIS MONTH

Yay! September is here! I finally get to release my dorm to y’all, and I am getting to accomplish a dream/aspiration of mine. Look for more dreamy details soon because in my opinion this is BIG! I am so blessed and so grateful for the opportunities and people I gain in my life because of 1998miss.com so Thank YOU!
