Little pink lace & bow sweetie dress!!!
Y’all!!!! You loved this little handmade linen dress! I think I got the most feedback on this look at #arcamps16 than any other!! I can tell you exactly why…it’s because everyone wants a unique & sweet dress like this. I would love to tell you where it came from & link one for you to get but I can’t. It’s impossible, this little dress came from GOODWILL. Yes I said it. ????? It was one of those “on the rack & it’s a no go” but my mom asked me to try it on & I did & I LOVED IT. Here comes the “?” moment, I got it for $3. I’m blessed. It’s like the sweetest most presh look. The little lace underneath was my modesty top from Forever 21 which I talked about in another post from this week + on my Instagram. @1998miss The lesson is never turn down an item until you put it on your body. You could be amazed & also the other lesson is you can get darling, & unique items at goodwill so don’t turn your nose up to something “pre loved”! That being said, have some taste with what you choose & also don’t load up on trendy items that are a “one time wear”‘or else you will fill your closet with stuff you don’t want. I’m guilty of this, just don’t do it. Have a plan when headed to Goodwill. Set a limit of $$$$
I love you bunches!
I really appreciate all the love on IG with this look, I went out feeling confident! I felt like a million bucks because of the sweet words. Please continue to comment your thoughts & ideas! Don’t hesitate to ask me where it’s from! Comment on here too!! Share too! Give me a follow on 1998miss.com
Hands down this was my favorite nightmare service look at #arcamps16!!!!
This dress was so chic, yet so simple. I loved that I didn’t have to add anything to it!! It was so comfy too. I put my coach retro inspired mini with it + my Africa ankle strap heels for a nice finish. (I call them my Africa heels because they remind me of my beloved country & my mission trip) I was persuaded to do a dramatic middle part with a low & BIG FAN BUN by @hamemily!!! I was a little on the nervous side but loved it as soon as I was finished. The sleek look + my face shape made me love the middle part! It is def going to be something I try again. It was so easy too! I have to tell y’all that for the week of senior camp I broke my heat ban to style my hair. I promise I used heat protectant tho! For this hair I just used left over tease & curl! My favorite pictures are from this night too. The profile shot of me is now my profile pic on INSTA. Photo Creds & thanks to Molly Fader-so glad she came to camp this week. I had so much fun during late night & had some delish ice cream to sadisfy my taste buds. We watched some ball & HAD CHURCH. I mean to tell you Wednesday night service was incredible, it literally changed my everything. GOD IS SO GOOD. We are sleeping giants who are about to be wakened to do an amazing work for God. I haven’t had that good of church in all of my years of my life. That’s 18 years in church & camp night 3 was the best. It will resinate with me for the rest of my life!!

I LOVE #ARCAMPS16
This was such a fun look because it was fun to twirl in!!! Okay, that was juvenile-but it really was fun because of its tie dye print. I paired it with another one of those little modesty tight t shirts. They have honestly been my saving grace this week! (Besides JESUS) I’d like to take another moment and say PTL. I’d just like to say it’s amazing when you find something in every color, that is affordable, & that completes your look. Okay, now let’s get down to the details.
Skirt: Forever 21 $8.00
Tight White T: Forever 21 (crop top section) $6.99
P.S. Featured in today’s post is MY SPIRITUAL SISTER & PRAYER PARTNER @ Hannah Katt from NWA. I love Hannah so much & have to brag on her because she truly has such a sweet spirit! + she’s beautiful inside & out. She’s got a fun sense of style & a whole lot of fun up her sleeve. She’s dedicated her heart to God completely & is going to be going to IBC this fall! Hannah has spoke a lot into my life & I am so happy to have her be my undying prayer partner. She says “I’m going to drag you to IBC with me”! We’d be an unstoppable duo!!! Hannah your smile lights up a room & you’re going bless some handsome guys ministry in addition to your own here soon. I can’t wait to watch. I love you soooooooo much. You little BURKENWEENIE. Okay. Thanks for also being my bestie at JUNIOR CAMP. I miss you already. Oh & being 5hrs away from you is going to be a another blessing considering we are both 10hrs from home this fall. I LOVE YOU.
Puppy Dog snap chat pic?? That’s me w/ miss Madison Gaddy from AR. Madison is also a great spiritual friend I have. She’s speaks mighty prayers into others lives & I believe is going to be apart of a great ministry soon. Madison & I were acquaintances before #arcamps16 but now are like total amigos in Christ. She’s hilarious, spiritual, beautiful, sassy, sweet, darling, fashionable, caring & one of my favorite humans! Thanks for letting me be your buddy this week, sitting w/ me on the bleachers of judgement during all the tribulation, sharing snow cones, unlimited laughter, ice cream, praying for me, praying with me, breaking down on the golf cart after a good ole joy ride, pushing the golf cart back to the camper, & for being just a real solid, holy, & beautiful friend & example in my life. I love you!

I’m just going to jump into the details of this outfit. I’m at #arcamps16 & I’m wearing a Nordstrom blouse, tucked into a black skirt which I love because it’s got a front slit. I paired it with my babies (red bottoms) & then choose a sleek slick HIGH ON TOP OF MY HEAD BUN. It went well with my little black carry clutch!!
Skirt: Banana Republic
My RED bottom babies: Self-Explanatory | CL
Carry Clutch: JCREW
I love Jesus.

STRIPES & Fun Buns! ♥️
Alright y’all I LOVE THIS LOOK!!! This is a little bit of nautical 🙂 it’s def going to be one of my favs from this week. Okay, so the reasons why I love this dress is because it’s a dressy outfit but not dressy (ya know what I’m sayin) & it’s SO COMFY. I feel modest & don’t feel like I am about to roast. The triple ties on the waist line are super fun & the Jack Rogers finish out my preppy fun day. Hannah Katt my gal pal calls these buns, Fun Buns 🙂 I HAVE TO AGREE!!! She has on stripes & fun buns too! 😉 yay! The funny thing is last week at Junior Camp we legit matched everyday! Lol.
So today I’m talking modesty!! As we all know, or for those who don’t…modesty is a beautiful thing. I believe there is a reason that we adorn ourselves modestly- #1 it honors God!!!! Sometimes it’s hard to find your fit in a new trend because more than likely it’s a trend that is immodest. The simple solution to those tank dresses or sleeves shirts is here! It’s a bargain & it comes in almost every color or style imaginable-it’s the striped half shirt underneath! YES! It’s a half shirt so it doesn’t add an extra hot layer to sweat under + no extra layer by the tummy region! (That’s one thing I hate about layering because it adds more to the areas I don’t need more LOL) These shirts are light & breezy & so affordable. They come in short sleeves & long sleeves for whatever you are feeling!! I’ve worn one already this week + this one & another one during the day tomorrow! 😉 if you’ve got any more interests about the details of these “MODEST IS HOTTEST LAYER SHIRTS” just comment below or message me! 🙂 I’ll be linking the few I have below! Alright y’all.

p.s. I can’t wait to share tonight’s look. :-))
I am at ARKANSAS SENIOR CAMP! YAY! For the first night of service I am wearing a simple little nude dress & some ankle heals w/ sparkle to spice up this dress. It’s a dress I got to wear to a wedding a while back and I simply haven’t worn it since then. Honesty in the back of my mind I thought it wouldn’t fit but to my surprise it did! I paired it with these shoes because it needed a bit of spice! These shoes are for sure the way to stop the show, if you need to. LOL. The great thing about my shoes is that they came from NBC for a bargain price & I wore them in the Queen homecoming parade. :)) Okay, I also have to apologize big time because I have not blogged in about a month. I am home from Africa with a life changing experience that I’ll forever keep but I have not blogged it. I also have not blogged my grad party, graduation, or prom! I plan to do this soon I’ve just been soooo busy! I frequently update my IG @1998miss with what I’m wearing & doing so check that out & give me a follow. I also have some AFRICA pictures!! OH & THIS IS SO EXCITING BECAUSE I HAVE SOME NEW WOMEN OF FAITH! FEATURING SOON: SIS HUZIAR FROM CALIFORNIA SOCAL | SIS ENSEY FROM ST. LOUIS, MO | SIS RICHARDSON FROM TN, & MADAGASCAR, AFRICA |
🙂 I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love!
