THE MOST MONDAYEST TUESDAY EVER

Monday we didn’t have school but today we did. In order to get through the school day I decided to wear this maroon skirt that I scored this weekend. I paired it with a shirt I’ve had since freshman year(MK), because let’s be honest you really never can get rid of a classic! To top off this look, I put it w/ my platform sandals from Target that I purchased on sale last summer! (There are a few blog posts you find featuring them)

My curls! NO HEAT REQUIRED! It’s a miracle, seriously so delighted that we don’t have to fry our hair anymore! We can look put together and have healthy hair again! 🙂 So if you read my last blog post (YOU BEST NOT HAVE MISSED IT, IT HAD MY EASTER LOOK & MY BEAUTY TIP GONE WRONG) you’ll know what happened the first go around with the sponge curlers. This time I let my hair be completely dry, and I used the large pink conair sponge curlers. I slept over night in them (make sure you use hair spray over them) & woke up, took them out and ZAM! I had LOVELY CURLS! If we are being honest it was so much easier than using a hot tool too! No effort required! Since I’m on a heat ban you can expect more healthy hair styles soon! Tomorrow I’ll post a picture of what the curlers look like & where you can buy them! They were only $9 at Walmart!

SUNDAY BEST

Easter Sunday |Resurrection Sunday|He Lives ????

March 29, 2016

PRAISE THE LORD! HE IS RISEN!

HAPPY EASTER FRIENDS.

It was a happy, happy, happy day on resurection Sunday! So happy Jesus died for our sins, but he lives! We celebrated his life at my church on Sunday, I was apart of drama praise & that was an amazing experience. You can view this service if you go to our web page (linked in my I believe Page) & go to archives of live stream. I had to be at church early on Sunday morning, at 8AM for practice & prayer so I needed a tasty breakfast that was quick! My mom made these bunny cinnamon roles! They were so easy & def. delicious carbs. ? 😉 but who’s counting on Easter right?

I tried out sponge curlers on Saturday night in preparation for Easter morning. I had high hopes for beautiful, bouncy curls for church. I used the smallest conair curlers & that was not smart. My mom warned me but I didn’t listen. LOL. (mothers always know best) I woke up, took them out & was surprised to find I had Shirley Temple curls. So I brushed them out & boy oh boy that wasn’t good….IT MADE THEM FRIZZY. I was forced to do a twisted low bun because I was out of time. It wasn’t as planned, but I worked with what I had. That’s something I’ve learned in life, plans don’t always work! When it comes to beauty tips, you need to do a trial run before automatically trusting them. I am exhibit A.

As far as Easter baskets: my mom did a tremendous job! I’m so blessed with my mother, she got me the swagger mini purple (Sewanee inspired) for my basket. I included pictures of all the other baskets she did too! (For my brothers & sisters) All the chocalote in the baskets came from the Fresh Market, in ROGERS, AR @ the pinnacle. If there was  a day I would break the diet, (& I did) it would be Easter!

The beautiful arrangement featured was special at my church for Easter Sunday & WAS BEAUTIFUL!

The lady in my photos wearing a striped top, is a dear lady from my church whom I LOVE! Her name is Amanda & she has four kids! She looks rockin’ right! We matched unintentionally! I guess we both got the pattern memo! Banana Republic had all of my Easter needs! I totally reccomend doing this stripes & floral trend because it’s so in & fun!

Road Trip w/ Squad

#diamonddolls

#weloveMCHSbaseball

I had a grand ole time with a lot of laughs! We ate at Slim Chickens on our way, Myka had never eaten there! We stopped for coffee on our way home & jammed to Carlie’s Spotify!! Tonight my look was featuring my diamond doll jersey! This was a gift from Chip the diamond doll sponsor & founder! I put it with these crazy socks & my MONOGRAMED converse for a “baseball look”! I also brought my special blanket from the 50th Homecoming Queen Court! + my letterman sweater for extra warmth!

My favorite girl Connie Martin was @ the game tonight all bundled up inspiring me to blog about how to stay warm at sporting events! Connie is the secretary to the counselors office, where I am a aid! Connie is seriously my favorite person @ MCHS & I love her!  Connie (featured in a picture) is wearing a north face type wind breaking jacket but what I want you to really notice is that she has a sleeping bag! No hassle but extra warm! I love this idea and can’t wait to use it before it warms up! I called Connie  “concoon” all night! LOL! Love ya con!

Currently I’m making the trek home w/ Squad! It was seriously a good Friday!  I’m so looking forward to all the Easter festivities coming up! If you’re needing a church to attend on Sunday please join us at the Pentecostals of North West Arkansas! I love my church & know God is going to move in a powerful way. Following our Easter service we are having an egg hunt! ♥️ Tomorrow I’ll be in Arkansas for Easter Service practice! Oh & today I ordered my passport at the post office! Getting excited about Africa!

SPONTANEOUSNESS

did you MISS ME MARCH?

March 25, 2016

I AM SO SORRY

MARCH.

I haven’t blogged since March 5th, & I feel 🙁 negative. So lots to talk about! I’m just going to do a brief summary of the events you’ve missed! Alrighty, so blogosphere you’ve missed these important & exciting events:

My foster sister was baptized in Jesus Name @ my church The Pentecostals of North West Arkansas. Link in my I believe tab. So happy about this!

I turned 18 years old on March 13! I celebrated by shopping in Tulsa, Oklahoma w/ my mommy. We had Raising Canes for lunch. (The best of the best) We checked out boots (that’s what I requested for my bday treat) @ Cavenders! Yet I couldn’t decide on a pair, so that’s still happening. We ate at an old fashioned classic restaurant  for dinner & for “cake” we had a Belgium waffle w/ Carmel & ice cream. YUMMY. Def. not on the diet. Oh p.s. I opened my first ever pair of LOUBOUTINS EVER! PAUSE FOR DRAMATIC SHRIEKING! I also was blessed w/ a little black bag, & some so cute wannabe Prada Sunnies! Thank you for all the birthday wishes and birthday blessings.

You also missed Baseball Season starting! YAYAYYYAYAYAY! I absolutely love being a diamond doll, it’s def. a highlight of high school & I am so sad this is my last year doing it. I would like to thank Chip Bailey for doing so much for MCHS baseball and for the Diamond Dolls. You are truly a blessing! Also if you could say a prayer for Potato Chip, he is very sick right now and needs a touch from the Lord. We love you Chip!

Next on the exciting events is the MCHS athletic banquet. This year my brother Matthew attended for wrestling & I went for my last year of Cheer. 🙁 I didn’t think I would be as sad as I am. I received my four year varsity cheerleading commitment plaque, & best facials/smile/spirit award! My best friends also received awards and it was bitter sweet as cheering with them @ MCHS has been one of my most favorite parts of highschool. I most def. couldn’t have survived cheer without Payton & Carlie. Countless memories!

My amigo Myka turned 18 this month!

My friend Kennedy (she works at Burger Time – I blogged about this restaurant) surprised me with funfetti rainbow bagels! She’s the bomb & I love her! She also treated me with a lettuced wrapped burger (a low carb option) YUM! You can find Kennedy on Instagram by clicking on my photo of the bagels, also listed below on the insta carousel!

I am currently on Easter Break, MCHS doesn’t get a Spring Break (Pause for dramatic gasp)! I worked this evening & had a customer leave me a check for my mission trip to Madagascar! I can’t tell you how much of a blessing this was-my mom told me when I got home tonight that she had been praying for a financial blessing for me! The Lord is so good. Tomorrow I have plans to renew my passport, renew my license and go out with SQUAD to finally celebrate my 18th.

I ALSO GOT GLASSES! YAY!

I received a car decal from Sewanee & my pennant hanging in the school!

Check out my Easter look on Sunday as I PROMISE TO BLOG IT! Also if you’re looking for somewhere to attend church on Easter please join as at The Pentecostals of North West Arkansas! Link in bio & on I believe page. We will be having many festivities and the drama praise team (I’m in this! Yay) is doing a praise to Victors Crown! I’m so excited! It’s going to be a Happy Easter in JESUS NAME! Following the service we will also have an egg hunt!

Enjoy these photos from the month of March that you missed.

I love y’all & again I’m sorry I’ve been out.

ROCK THAT STAGE!

image

For Rachovelli.

QUEEN

Tonight was my last night to rock the stage with my SHOWCHOIR. I’ve been in SHOWCHOIR for all four years of high school in the mixed group. It’s been a journey & it has sadly came to an end. Webb City Classic was our last performance. Started freshman year on the stage with my best friend Rachael Nicole Staib & it was so hard to end senior year without her. She was an amazing vocalist & is greatly missed. Tonight we won for her. We took home 2nd Place & BEST CLOSER. Honestly BEST CLOSER meant so much to us. Happy for have given four years to something so special. Shoutout to all Four Year Seniors!

Love Always,

PRAISE REPORT: God is so good. I have been so blessed recently! I’m excited to be journeying to Africa soon, & to God be the glory about all the funding he’s provided. I am also proud to announce I am a gates millennium scholarship finalist! If I get this scholarship funded by Bill Gates my life will be forever changed. I want to tell you something…if you give up everything in this world for God he will bless you. I am so thankful, and I couldn’t be more happy! Everything in Jesus name! I also want to take a minute to brag on my church, I go to the best church ever. On my I believe page you can find a link to our website where you will find everything you need to know. There is nothing like going to a Holy Ghost, Jesus Name, Apostolic Church! I would encourage you to join us on Sunday’s or Wednesday’s!

Friday Night: I’ve been undergoing the terrible task of closet editing. This is hard because I have so so so many clothes & because I face the problem of not being able to say goodbye to old pieces. I’d say this is one of my biggest struggles! I love clothes and can’t let go of them! In an effort to raise money I’m selling my stuff! For the first time tonight I visited Clothing Mentor & Platos Closet.

I also was a blood donor today at school for our annual blood drive! Sewanee sent my pennant and a decal today & I was psyched!

Enjoy these pictures & hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

I cheered my last game ever on Thursday ( I included the cheer pictues we took)  & tomorrow is my last competition ever! It’s crazy! I’m almost done!

Super Tuesday: Arkansas!

SUPER TUESDAY

TRUMP TAKES AR

I had a grand time w/ the grand ole party on Tuesday working the polls. I love America & believe with all my heart it is our civic duty to get involved in voting. Regardless of my fun experience at the TRUMP Rally in NWA, I am for Ted Cruz. I believe Ted Cruz is the leadership we need. Cruz stands for Israel & the 2nd Admemdment. Cruz is Christian & a Consititionaltist. My vote is for Ted Cruz. #trusted

My cousin Sharon Lloyd ran for Senator of Washington County, District 7. I really enjoyed campaigning for her, she is an inspiration & a true role model! I also attended my first Republican Watch Party last night! So much Fun! So blessed to live in a country where we are free! Love the GOP!

My look for these events was simple, classy, & American. These pieces have all been in my closet for an eternity now but offer a fresh look none the less. Check Banana Republic for an updated version of my blue button down & Dillard’s for a red skirt. Kate Spade always has something cute!
