BEFORE YOU SAY I AM CRAZY, ADMIT THAT THIS IS COOL. So SQUAD & I got together this last Saturday to splatter paint my homecoming dress from SHE SAID YES. This was inspired by bridal shoots & I made my own spin on it. We had so much fun! We laughed & laughed…and more importantly than the dress we have the memory of the day. I love SQUAD so much & I am so blessed to have them in my life. SHOUTOUT TO:
you girls are my favs.
Check out these pictures, follow my amigos on Twitter, & insta & look back at my homecoming post to see the before shots.
p.s. This def. fits under the spontaneous category.
Happy Valentine’s Day Loves.
Isn’t Valentine’s Day fun? Okay, so maybe you don’t like it because you don’t have a bf to mush and gush about…but we can still celebrate our love for friends, family, & pets! I’m blessed this year because I have those loves to mush and gush about but also my bf @hudsonkindy! He gave me so macaroons inspired by Blair Waldorf on GOSSIP GIRL! What a fella. 🙂 Anyways take a look at this cute Valentine’s Day party we had at my house. Comment any questions below! Subscribe to my news letter, & love y’all!
I CAN NOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT. I LOVE MY LETTER SWEATER. IT IS MY OWN SPECIAL SPIN ON THE “LETTERMAN JACKET”. I ordered it in October & on the 12th of Feb. I picked it up in Seneca, MO. so it’s been long awaited. I knew from the get go I wanted something vintage inspired so I debated between a sailor collar & the sweet sweater. Obv. I went with the sweater because NO ONE AT MCHS HAS IT, & it’s going to look so cute this spring. I picked up my own sweater this summer on my journey in New England for the bargain price of $23 from JCREW. My patches were a little expensive but so worth it! I did a diamond doll patch, a 1998miss.com patch, a broken octave state patch, a cross with the most significant bible verse DT 6:4, a NHS president patch, a student council patch, a mustang patch, a varsity cheer patch, my varsity letter & my name embroidered. I could have done so many more but I wanted to select my favorite accomplishments! My grand total was $160 not including the sweater, so it was a cheaper option than the jacket. Anyways take a peak at these sweet shots taken right downtown in Seneca, MO!
The Kennedy Beshears Special w/ a side salad.
My friend Kennedy works at McDonald County’s local burger joint, and yesterday I had to cheer 2 Varsity basketball games but wanted a delicious meal before I cheered… so my girl hooked me up. Burger time is a quaint little joint in Pineville, MO. It’s an in & out & delicious place! If you want a quick & fun venue…check out Burger Time! If you want a rockin burger try WHAT KENNEDY CREATED! You can opt for no bun if you are watching carbs!
WHAT IS ON IT?
Pepper Jack Cheese
It’s so delicious & a bargain!
Shout out to Kennedy for being an avid blog follower, friend, & rockin’ chef! She’ll probably make a name for this treat as its getting more popular in the County, but until then….I call it the KB CHEESE TOT BURGER. You can follow Kennedy on Twitter @stolenmockasans
I’m always busy but hope to find more time to post some updates! So excited! I’m looking forward to church tonight & you can tune in! (Check the I believe page & follow the link for live stream) My look will be posted in another post so don’t miss that!
The long awaited anticipation of this day…it came & I’m honestly suprised! I was waiting and checking my email every five seconds when I figured out that General Youth Division had chosen their applicants but was stressed because I hadn’t received the email. Hours passed, I began to feel sad, but then my mom said “did you check spam” I responded “no, it’s not going to be in spam”! She looked while I was out of the room & THERE IT WAS! A dream come true and I didn’t have to stress anymore! I was chosen to attend the AYC UPCI mission trip to Madagascar in May. This had an application process with a record number of applicants this year 642! I am so honored/blessed/excited to be one of the few selected to go. With all that being said, I am responsible to raising money to attend it is $4,000 to attend plus other expenses putting me at $4,300 needed. My first downpayment is March 1st for $2,900, the second is April 1st with $900, & finally May 1st $500. I am including my link to my go fund me, but would also appreciate all prayers, love, support, fasts, ideas, & contributions to this life changing journey. I know God is doing something miraculous in my heart & life. I trust him, but I have to admit it wasn’t easy. This is my short preview of what led me to apply for an AYC trip…the Lord has placed a calling and burden on my heart for missions. My calling was confirmed for me at #arhyc15, this was scary for me because it was never in my plans to pursue missions but I took a leap of faith & decided to trust God. I don’t have words to express how blessed/excited I am to be chosen to go to Madagascar to share the gospel of Jesus Christ this coming May! I am about to undergo a journey I will truly never forget! There is much fundraising to be done for me to meet the goal of $4,300, please say a few prayers for me! #aycmadagascar16 Please feel free to share this link, my blog, or my name to get the word out! I’m so blessed and thankful! I can’t wait to spread some One God, Jesus Name TRUTH!
